Yesterday, I had to listen to my bubblehead coworker and my boss discuss the difficulties of finding kosher breathmints. For TWENTY MINUTES. I even took a phone call halfway through the conversation, and when I hung up, they were still discussing it.
I wanted to shut my office door, but there was no way to do it without being obvious. So, I had to sit and listen to them debate the merits of LifeSavers vs. Breathsavers, because apparently, not only do these non-existent mints need to be kosher, they also need to be sugar-free. I almost committed hari-kari with my letter opener.
