Since I am ready to jump back into the dating pool, I have been doing a lot of thinking about things in general and men in particular. I told J, who is so sweet because she listened to me blather on and on over Chinese one night, that even though what I had been through in a previous relationship was very painful, ultimately it was a good thing. It made me realize what I will and won't put up with in future relationships. I won't ever put up with being treated like I am disposable or being used as a backup again. I know I am not perfect but I am beautiful and unique and I have a lot to offer the right man. Now, I just have to find him.
